Fire Drill Evacuation
For the sake of everyone’s safety, a fire drill should be conducted as a simulation of a true emergency situation. Students are led by their teachers and the school committees designated and trained fire wardens out of a building along planned escape routes and through emergency exit doors to an assembly area outside the building. Fire drills are an essential component of any fire safety procedure for a number of reasons, including making sure that staff, teachers, students and any other visitors to your premises understand what to do in the event of a fire, testing the effectiveness of your evacuation plan, and assisting you in improving any aspects of your fire provisions that are ineffective.
